The Sofidel Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of tissue paper, founded in Italy in 1966. The Group operates subsidiaries in 13 countries across Europe and the United States.

With more than 6,700 employees, Sofidel produces and distributes hygiene products such as toilet paper, kitchen rolls, paper towels, tissues, as well as medical and industrial rolls.

As a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, Sofidel Germany GmbH currently employs around 800 people across Germany. The German headquarters are located in Schmalkalden (Thuringia), with an additional production site in Arneburg (Saxony-Anhalt) and a dedicated sales office in Cologne.
