The Thuringia State Criminal Police Office serves as the central hub for police information and communication (ZpIuK) within the Thuringian police force.

Department 5 – Information and Communication Technology – is responsible for managing complex specialized systems and standard software solutions. In addition, it delivers a broad range of technical services, including the maintenance of radio site infrastructure, network operations, and the administration of the agency’s dedicated data center.
